Where will you give on #GivingTuesday?

Now that we have survived Black Friday and Cyber Monday, let’s move to a more important event- #GivingTuesday

Observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and these two popular shopping days,  #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, to coincide with holiday and end-of-year giving.

It is a is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.

Since its start in 2012, #GivingTuesday celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources.

On this first #GivingTuesday observance for Watercress Words, I’m sharing a link to the Arbonne Charitable Foundation.

As an Arbonne Independent Consultant, I’m pleased this organization invests in the lives of our future leaders. Please consider a donation to this or another charity of your choice. Throughout the coming year I’ll share more giving opportunities with you.

The Arbonne Charitable Foundation’s mission is to provide support for programs and opportunities that promote the development of confidence and self‑esteem in teenage girls and boys.

We have helped more than 46,000 teens develop increased confidence through programs supported by the Foundation.

Help us build teen confidence and self-esteem.

As a family physician, I explore the HEART of HEALTH in my work, recreation, community, and through writing. My blog, Watercress Words, informs and inspires us to live in health. I believe we can turn our health challenges into healthy opportunities. When we do, we can share the HEART of health with our families, communities, and the world. Come explore and share with me.
