Happy Thanksgiving from Watercress Words

I think this year we may all be even more grateful for life and health, for our family and friends.

Today we celebrate, while also remembering those we have lost this past year, to COVID and all the other diseases that take them from us.

And together with God’s help we will get through this, and be ready for life’s next challengeS with FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE.

O GOD, WE GIVE YOU THANKS FOR LIFE, HEALTH, FRIENDS, FAMILY AND FAITH
I’m thankful for everyone who stops by my blog-that means you.

Giving Thanks

Flash mobs usually involve singing but this one dances. It is a “flashwaltz” which happened in a hospital (after all, this is a health blog) . It’s a reminder that not everyone will be “home for the holidays.”

Music students played The Waltz of the Flowers from The Nutcracker by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky at the Hadassah Hospital.

As we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States this month, don’t forget people who can’t celebrate at home with their friends and family-

  • people in hospitals and nursing homes
  • those serving in the military
  • those who work today to keep the rest of us safe- police, firefighters, medical professionals, transportation workers
