Based on the results of the 2022 midterm election, Democrats remain the majority party in the United States Senate by a slim margin. With a Democrat Vice President (who can vote in case of a tie),issues brought before the Senate will likely support the President and the party platform

Consider reading the entire platform using the link I included. The party leadership has said they intend to update the platform in 2024, the next presidential election year.
