Where will YOU give on GivingTuesday?

GivingTuesday occurs the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and marks the beginning of the charitable season. It promotes global giving through social media and collaboration, celebrating philanthropy since 2012 with various events and resources to encourage year-round generosity.

Now that we have survived Black Friday and Cyber Monday, let’s move to a more important event- GivingTuesday

It is a is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.

Since its start in 2012, GivingTuesday celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources.

Advent , seeking the lost

“The word advent means “coming.” In this season of the year, we focus on the meaning of the coming of the Son of God into the world.

The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Luke 19:10, NIV

“The word advent means “coming.” In this season of the year, we focus on the meaning of the coming of the Son of God into the world.

Jesus came into the world at the first Advent, and every Advent since is a reminder of his continual advent into more and more lives. And that advent is, in fact, our advent—our coming, our moving into the lives of those around us and into the peoples of the world.”
